It’s time to move forward

Iolite is known for its beautiful indigo color. The rich purples to delicate blues have given Iolite the nickname ‘Water Sapphire.’ This magical stone is dichroic which means that it has full color in one direction and will appear colorless or translucent in another.

This gentle stone is associated with the Third Eye and also the Crown Chakra. It is known as a stone for clear vision. It has been used for centuries for its beauty. However, it is also known as the Vikings’ Compass because they made lenses from it to help them navigate. It’s still used by sailors to help them find the way home.

Iolite is used in regulating digestion, strengthening the nerves, assisting with paralysis and numb limbs, and tolerating pain. Iolite is said to assist in healing of the eyes, migraines and headaches, disorientation and dizziness. It also stimulates memory, and prevents insomnia, nightmares or sleep disturbances.

Iolite examines the inner path of the deep self. It assists in letting go of the belief that one needs to control inner experiences, and dissolves fear of the unknown or suppressed parts of the psyche. It increases the capacity to move forward, and allows for the understanding that the examination of one’s wounds is the most direct path to healing. It is a stone of inner treasure, helping to uncover the lost parts of oneself.

When in the midst of adversity, Iolite helps to provide solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems. It promotes a calm, positive state of mind, instills hope, and assists with decisions.

Iolite helps promote self-acceptance and aids in finding your soul’s purpose.

If you are feeling sad or lost with all the recent news and need a little insight to help find your way forward, then Iolite is the crystal for you.
