Stick to vegetables, fruits, and herbs (especially wild ones) for your kidneys to function at peak performance.

Fruits and vegetables are natural kidney cleansers. They also help with digestion because of the high fiber.

Here are the fruits and vegetables that are great kidney cleansing foods:

  • Grapes
  • Cranberries
  • Spinach
  • Blueberries
  • Nettles
  • Dandelion (dandelion tea is great for cleansing the kidneys and flushing out toxins)
  • Parsley
  • Ginger
  • Millet
  • Barley
  • Tofu
  • String beans
  • Kidney beans
  • Lemon juice
  • Apple cider vinegar (1/2 teaspoon 2 or 3 times a day in a cup of warm water)
  • Watermelon
  • Dates
  • Asparagus
  • Turmeric tea

A Dandelion Tincture with Apple Cider Vinegar is the perfect combo to assist with the cleansing of many of your organs and for a healthy digestive tract.

Also, a simple way for you to cleanse your kidneys and stop kidney stones is by drinking a lot of water. Drinking water and plenty of liquids each day will allow your body to remove build-up and smaller kidney stones and will also help you avoid the development of more stones. Cutting down on salt does your entire body a favor.

Here’s a simple juice recipe that is excellent for your kidneys and liver.

***Wash everything first***

  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 Lemon or Lime or 1/2 of each 1 Tiny knob of ginger (or to taste)

Put through your juicer and enjoy!
