What’s happening to me?
If you don’t know you are going through a spiritual awakening, it can be deeply confusing, scary and lonely.
Awakening to me means to become conscious and awake to the stories and conditioning we’ve been told over and over again by those around us and society as a whole.
It means to start living fully conscious and intentionally. To live a life that is ours and no one else’s.
It means realizing that we are not our ego, we are not our body, we are not our mind. We are infinitely more than this.
It means to take yourself off autopilot, to start to question the things you have believed up until now.
It is about awakening to all parts of your being, to integrate the good, the bad and the ugly.
And it is about reclaiming those parts of yourself that have been lost along the way.
Put simply, a spiritual awakening marks the beginning of your initiation on the spiritual path. Without experiencing a spiritual awakening, you go throughout life pursuing the emptiness of money, fame, power, and respect in an attempt to find “happiness.”
The unsettling and equally beautiful thing about spiritual awakenings are that they will occur when you least expect it. It happens according to divine timing, not your timing. There is no way you can plan for them. It’s as if a tornado has hit you, and your whole life has been flipped and shook to the core. But the hidden gift buried deep within them is that they occur at the precise time that you need them the most. God is always right on time.
