Have you ever prayed for guidance, for an opportunity or just for validation that your headed in the right direction?
Often we find ourselves standing at a crossroad, we know this is a turning point for us, we are feeling led in a certain direction but we didn’t take the action needed.
It takes courage to take action, especially when it is sending you down an unfamiliar road that you have no idea what is at the end of it.
You may be feeling confused and frustrated about what’s next. You have asked and prayed for direction for a specific problem and you get an answer. It could come to you through writing, reading a magazine cover, overhearing a conversation, through a show that randomly comes on, through meditation or while praying. You know in your soul it’s the answer. Often the problem is, it’s not the answer you thought it would be. Let’s face it, most times when we ask for direction, we already have a knowing or idea of how we think it should look or work out. We go to the way it would make us feel comfortable. The way that would keep us in our comfort zone, often that is not the way we actually are being led through.
So what do you do when you receive an answer for your next step but you really don’t like the answer because it’s new or different or would take change?
Do you have the courage to receive the guidance and take the action anyway?
It may seem like a scary road because it is unfamiliar but there is always light at the end when you are being led by spirit. There is a far greater plan for each and every one of us than we could ever imagine on our own.
What have you been called to do that is out of your comfort zone?
I know I have been called, time and time again, to up and move cross country and leave a business or good job and go to a place where I didn’t know a soul and had no idea what I would do for a living but I did know if God called me there he had a plan and a purpose and would guide me each step of the way and everything would be all right. I can tell you every time it has worked out for my highest good.
Have faith, have courage, allow your life to BE LED and watch the magic and the miracles overtake you.
