Intuitive Development Meditation
Are you frustrated and feeling like you just can’t tune into your intuition?
You do have intuition. Each and every one of you have the ability to connect to Spirit, to your Guides, angels, God, Jesus, whoever you feel comfortable connecting to.
That’s why I’m sharing one of my favorite meditations to develop your intuitive gifts AND control your intuitive abilities at the same time.
How to Use This Meditation
Use this meditation to strengthen your intuitive abilities. To start, just do it for 10 minutes. Then, write down anything you sense, see, hear, or feel even if it’s subtle.
Intuitive Development Meditation Directions
- Set aside 10 minutes. Find a quiet place. Turn off all distractions: phone, TV, etc.
- Make sure you are well hydrated.
- Sit in a comfortable chair with your back supported and feet on the floor.
- Imagine yourself as a tree, rooted into the ground. See roots coming from the core of your being, running down your body, and into the core of the earth.
- Next, put your hands on your thighs with your palms facing upward.
- Close your eyes and take some deep breaths.
- Breathe into the core of your being.
- Now, breathe in through your nose. And as you do, feel your stomach expand.
- Then, exhale through your mouth. Let your stomach relax.
- Breathe in again and say the word “Om.”
- As you exhale, say “Ah.”
- Continue to breathe at a nice steady pace.
- Ask your Spirit Guides (and/or angels) for energetic protection.
- Now, ask your Guides and angels to surround you with love and divine light. This step ensures that you work from a place of love and light.
- Finally, set the intention that this intuitive meditation is for your highest good. Allow yourself to relax and feel their peace and protection around you.
Now it’s time to connect with your intuition.
- Imagine a beautiful lotus flower opening up. This symbolizes that your gifts are opening.
- Allow it to fully open and then sit quietly for 10 minutes and pay attention to your body. Notice any subtle impressions that you sense, feel, see, or hear.
For example, do you:
- See any images in your mind’s eye (third eye)?
- Feel any physical sensations?
- Feel a specific emotion?
- Have words or names that come to mind?
- Have a sense of inner knowing?
No matter how subtle, at the end of the meditation write it all down.
Tip: If you don’t feel anything, don’t worry. Meditation just takes a bit of practice. I promise, this gets easier and quicker. Plus, your gifts will get stronger and stronger!
This intuitive meditation will help you open your intuitive connection. The more you take time to deliberately bring yourself to a place of peace and open yourself to connect to Spirit, the easier it will become.
When You’re Ready
- To end the meditation, imagine the lotus flower gently closing. One petal at a time. Be gentle with it.
- When the lotus is fully closed.
- Take a deep breath, rub your thighs, and bring yourself back to the present moment in time.
- Thank your Spirit Guides for their love and support.
- Write down any impressions you had during the meditation.
- End by grounding yourself to balance your energy. Simply envision a tree within you with the roots growing down, and around you, and into the core of the earth. See yourself bringing that earth energy back up through the roots into the core of your being and breathe!
Meditation is a great way to develop your intuitive ability.
Practicing this meditation for just 10 minutes each day will help you connect with, and strengthen, your intuitive gifts.
