You may have been feeling a little off-kilter lately, and you’re probably not wrong. This April marks the beginning of Mercury retrograde in the stubborn sign of Taurus, so it will be a doozy.
You may be finding yourself feeling more bull-headed than usual—but don’t let yourself get too entrenched in stubborness and anger. That won’t do anyone any good. Instead, focus on being grounded and taking things one step at a time. This is also a great opportunity to look at your past decisions and how they’ve led to where you are today. Reflect on what worked and what didn’t and use that knowledge to make informed future choices.
You may have heard your friends talking about this upcoming Mercury Retrograde, but what exactly does it mean? Basically, Mercury retrograde is a celestial event whereby the planet Mercury appears to move backward in its orbit. During this period of time, communication issues can arise and plans may need to be adjusted, so it pays to take extra care with anything related to contracts, agreements and travel arrangements.
It’s important to note that the retrograde isn’t just limited to the actual transit period. The pre-shadow (or build up) of the retrograde begins from April 7, and the post-retrograde shadow (or aftermath) will last until May 31 with the actual retrograde taking place from April 21st – May 14th. This means that for around two months, you’ll be feeling the effects of Mercury’s reversal.
Try to stay grounded and avoid getting too wrapped up in the details.
When it comes to making decisions or plans during this time, take things slowly and carefully. You don’t have to decide everything right away. Instead, take some time to think through each choice before you commit. Remember that Mercury Retrograde doesn’t have to be a period of chaos. Instead, use it as an opportunity to slow down, reflect and really consider what you want your future to look like.
