Inflammation is running rampant.
You may be feeling the heat from the temperature outside but it is just as likely you are feeling the heat of inflammation. I see inflammation in just about everyone.
Inflammation is a sign of an immune system that is overworked or breaking down.
Many things can contribute to inflammation. If the inflammation comes from emotions such as anger, fear, disgust, sadness or shame, you will see if affect the upper body.
When it comes from lack of support, you will see inflammation in the lower body.
Food, injury, disease, alcohol, stress, infection and bites are some common causes for inflammation.
There are natural ways to fight inflammation. Some of them are:
Sleep
Anti-inflammatory diet such as olive oil, high fiber foods, leafy greens, nuts, fatty fish, fruit, pineapple (which contains Bromelain) is a good one, green tea, honey, garlic and bone broth.
Herbs such as Ginger, Tumeric, Devil’s Claw, Curcumin, Spirulina or Hyssop.
Vitamins such as C, D, Magnesium and Omega 3.
Exercise.
Losing Weight.
Stress Management.
Limit sugar, smoking, alcohol and processed food.
The Vagus Nerve directly impacts inflammation. It can detect pathogens, parasites, mold, bacteria and spirochetes. It sends inflammatory cytokines to destroy whatever is intruding in your body. The Vagus Nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body. It runs from the brain stem all the way down to part of the colon.
When it isn’t functioning or has low tone, the cytokine storm continues, attacking your host cells and causing an inflammatory loop response, impacting autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Signs of low tone or low functioning Vagus Nerve are:
Autoimmune disease
Chronic inflammation
Depression
Anxiety
Heart palpitations
Headaches
Tinnitus
Leaky Gut
Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Hypertension
Chronic Fatigue
Swallowing issues
A stimulated Vagus Nerve can assist with such things as:
Reduce inflammation
Lower your heart rate
Treat depression
Reduce blood pressure
Minimize seizure activity
Some physical things you can do to activate and calm the Vagus Nerve is put lotion on your neck, then with your pointer finger curved, slide if from just under your ear down your neck to the base of your neck. The area seen in the image above.
Another exercise would be to place your pointer finger gently into the hole of your ear and move the finger in a light circular motion towards the back of your ear to the count of 10.
I never do a session without grounding, putting up energetic boundaries, protection and calming and activating the Vagus Nerve. If you do not calm and activate the Vagus Nerve, the healing won’t stick.
Your Vagus Nerve plays a MAJOR role in your body. Do what you can to take care of it.
Full Moon blessings to my High Vibe Healing Tribe.
