Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD can be affecting you throughout the winter but January and February tend to be hardest on you if you are affected.
The longer days stay dark and dreary the more you may find yourself feeling lethargic, exhausted, moody, craving carbs and just plain SAD.
The good news is “there are crystals for that.”
Selenite clears negativity and transmute it to positive energy. It will help calm and soothe you.
Rose Quartz assists in clearing out the negativity, jealousy, anger and resentment you may be feeling towards others. It opens your heart to loving yourself and others. Amethyst helps relieve stress and anxiety and also aids in boosting cell rejuvenation.
Citrine is known as the “happy stone” it helps release fear and will pierce the darkest moods with its luminous light. Citrine can help you combat sinking and stagnant feelings. It brings out the joy in things.
Lepidolite is a stone that has an ability to balance your nervous system and can easily release feelings of depression. It has miraculous mood stabilizing properties. This crystal contains a high percentage of lithium, which is often used in anti anxiety treatments. (I prefer giving my clients raw, unpolished lepidolite so they can rub it and absorb the lithium).
You are not alone. Over 11 million people, just in the US, are known to experience this with some 25 million more experiencing mild cases of it. It is much more common in women. You may have started noticing the symptoms when you were a young adult.
You may have noticed that you feel SAD or depressed during the winter months. Or the same time each year.
Some other things you may have noticed would be less energy, lack of concentration, a bigger appetite, weight gain, exhaustion.
Get grounded, zipped up and in your coconut and then say out loud “Selenite is assisting me with S.A.D.” does your energy constrict or expand, do you get a yes or a no, do you feel lighter or heavier? Do this with the name of each crystal to determine which ones would be best for you. Put them in a pouch and carry them in your pocket during the day and put the pouch under your pillow at night.
I hope this is a great tip for those of you that are experiencing this or for your loved ones. Pass this on to those that you know are being affected.
They will appreciate it.
Please share with anyone that you think might benefit from this information!
