Look For The Blessings
Look for the blessings that this shutdown is bringing. It is giving the time you need to face yourself. You are being given the opportunity to spend all the time you want to look within, to heal yourself, to connect with your family and connect with your soul.
It is bringing humanity closer like never before even though we cannot interact physically with each other.
Please, watch what you bring into your energy. Stop complaining, watching the news and worrying about things you cannot change.
Worrying creates a loop of the same kind of experiences over and over again. It is negative prayer.
Put a blessing bowl next to your bed and have a pen and little slips of paper in it. Each night before you go to bed take one of the pieces of paper and write at least 3 things that blessed you that day. Go to bed in the energy of gratitude and that is the energy you will wake up in.
Take the time to sage your space. If you don’t have sage, cedar, palo santo or anything to burn just put some sea salt in bowls and place a few in different parts of your space. If you don’t have sea salt use table salt.
Use this time to learn how to meditate, practice yoga or go on the Public Broadcast Station and they have classes like Sit and Be Fit.
Read that book that you never had time for, go back to baking and cooking from scratch. Write letters to your loved ones so they always have something to hold that carries you and your energy.
Sleep. Don’t set an alarm. Let yourself take all the time you need to restore your body, mind and spirit.
Take steps to start that business you have always dreamt of, even if it is just a side hustle, and never meant to be full time.
This quiet time is offering so many benefits and blessings to be thankful for.
Praying blessings over each and every one of you.
Be Strong…. Be Well.
