Cosmic Connections: Planets Align, Super Moon Rises, and Meteors Fly!
The sky has and will be crazy active this week. Hopefully some of you saw the northern lights. If you did please share your pictures. Here is some of what you can expect and of course each of these bring in their own set of new frequencies so there will be a lot going on.
Mars and Jupiter are getting together in Taurus the Bull!
These two bright stars will be hanging out in the same part of the sky. They’ll be close enough that you might even think they’re one big star.
Every night, the Moon will look bigger and brighter as you approach the August 19th Super Full Moon at 11:26am PT.
For the finale you had the Perseid meteor shower peaking! The peak happened on the nights of Aug.11-12 but the showers continue through September 1st. You may still see a shooting star.
Find a spot away from city lights. Look up around 10pm. That’s when the show is usually at its best.
Bring a blanket and snacks. This is a great excuse to spend some time outdoors moon bathing and stargazing.
You won’t want to miss it!
