We’ve lost the simplicity of self healing

Convenience has really done society a dis-service.

You go to the grocery store and throw everything in your cart from Ibuprofen to lettuce only to later find out they have been recalled for some bacteria, defect or ailment they are causing.

What happened to the days when you went to your own garden for everything from food to tea to healing?

You need to get back to what your ancestors did and take charge of your own health. Healing can be right on your window sill or in your yard.

St. John’s Wort is a medicinal plant that anyone can grow. St. John’s Wort Oil is one of my favorite home remedies. You can use it in so many ways. It is great for massage oil, cuts, bruises, growing pains and burns. In addition, it also has been used for hundreds of years to treat mental health problems. Today it is used as a remedy to treat mild and moderate depression, and sometimes seasonal affective disorder (SAD), mild anxiety and sleep problems.

When using it to treat burns, soak a piece of cotton or cheese cloth in the oil then wrap the burned area to help stop the pain and heal the burn. You want your oil ready and on hand because for a burn you want to be able to apply it right away.

It’s Spring, planting time, so I am really encouraging you to start a medicinal garden this year and take control of your own healing. Even if you choose just one plant and learn the uses for it. That, at least, is a start.

God gave us what we need to heal ourselves, we just have to make use of it.

Just another tip for my High Vibe Healing Tribe.

Please share with anyone that you think might benefit from this information!
